I’m an absolute sucker for any new spot that offers functional treatments or is focused on longevity, so when I stumbled across Wellnest at Springs Souk a few weeks ago, I was delighted. Not only because it looked like the kind of place I’d want to spend time in, but also because – finally – I don’t have to trek all the way to Downtown for a high-quality wellness experience.
First impressions? Spot on. It’s a calming, well-thought-out space, and from the moment I walked in, the receptionist was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the treatments on offer..(There’s nothing worse than arriving somewhere for a treatment and feeling like you know more about it than the person greeting you) so this was a great start.
But the real reason I was there? Spiral Stabilisation.
This method is all about realigning the body, rebuilding core strength, and lifting the spine upwards to alleviate pressure on joints and discs. It’s designed to activate and strengthen the deep spiral muscle chains, ultimately restoring muscular balance and improving posture. And here’s the exciting part – Wellnest is the only place in the UAE offering this treatment.
As someone who’s suffered from recurring neck and upper back issues for years (a mix of an old gym injury + seven years of carrying small children on one hip), I’m always on the lookout for treatments that go beyond just managing symptoms. I want something that tackles the root cause.
Enter Anita, my therapist for the session, who – within minutes – had me feeling like I was in incredibly capable hands. She started by taking photos to show where my alignment was off, then guided me through dynamic stretching with elastic bands, designed to activate the right muscle chains and encourage proper spinal movement. It felt controlled, intentional, and completely different from anything I’d done before.
After the stretching, I was placed on the treatment bed, where electrodes were attached to my head and feet while Anita used two electric probes across my chest. She explained that this was stimulating ATP production (the body’s energy currency) and supporting mitochondrial health – essentially giving my body’s cells a reboot.
The probes also used bio-energy feedback, a system that detects imbalances in the body’s energy flow. At the start of the session, my biofeedback readings were all over the place (not surprising, given how much tension I hold in my upper body). Anita used this information to target blockages through manual massage, releasing areas of tension.
By the end of the session, my biofeedback results were completely normalised—and honestly, I felt it. Light. Lighter physically, mentally, and energetically.
Spiral Stabilisation isn’t a one-and-done kind of treatment – it’s best done over a series of sessions to gradually build core strength, improve posture, and enhance overall stability. But even after just one, I could feel a shift.
Each session lasts one hour and is priced at AED 420, with packages available if you want to commit to the full process.
Beyond Spiral Stabilisation, Wellnest offers a range of recovery and longevity-focused treatments – from postnatal and sports recovery to infrared saunas and ice baths (which I’ll absolutely be back for). Their whole philosophy is built around integrating modern science with ancient wisdom to optimise physical and mental function, and honestly? That’s exactly the kind of place I want in my life.Consider me a Wellnest convert – and if you’re someone who values preventative care, deep healing, and cutting-edge recovery treatments, you’ll probably love it too.
