In the heart of Dubai’s buzz, there’s a place where time slows, breath deepens, and the outside world fades away. Introducing Samadhi, which isn’t just a wellness space, it’s a sanctuary. A sacred space where connection deepens, self-discovery begins, and you leave feeling entirely renewed.
I arrived after school drop-off, weaving through Dubai’s morning traffic, feeling the weight of the day ahead. But the moment I stepped inside, everything shifted. My shoulders dropped, my breath slowed, and a sense of calm washed over me. The space itself is beautifully designed; natural textures, stone, wood, and elements that ground you instantly. It makes perfect sense that the owner is a seasoned architect. Every detail has been carefully considered to create harmony, balance, and stillness.
I made my way upstairs for a warm Vinyasa flow with Alicia. The class was everything I needed – fluid, energising, and grounding. Alicia’s infectious energy made it both fun and deeply restorative. I left feeling more open, lighter, and reconnected to my body.
After class, I had the choice between a sauna and ice bath (included with any class), a moment in the gardens soaking up the winter sun, or a dip in Samadhi’s private pool. I opted for the sauna, a luxury I don’t often get time for. Absolute bliss. A quick shower, a change in the beautifully designed changing rooms, and I made my way downstairs to the café for a drink and snack before heading to the Aveda salon. I opted for a beach wave blow-dry that lasted all week and easily one of the best I’ve had in Dubai.
What makes Samadhi so special is that it’s not just a yoga studio. It’s a place to move, to nourish, to connect. Whether it’s catching up with friends over coffee post-class, working from the zen space, swimming in the pool, or indulging in the spa’s deeply restorative treatments. It’s somewhere you can truly spend the whole day. And when you leave, you don’t just feel better. You feel transformed.
